On this website

• Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookie-free) and Google Analytics 4, which sets first-party _ga cookies to count visits and tell new visitors from returning ones. We see aggregate traffic — pages, referrers, countries — never individual identities, and we don't use the data for advertising.
• Your choice, with receipts: Google Analytics only runs after you allow it in the cookie banner; decline and we fall back to cookie-free analytics only. Change your mind anytime via Cookie settings in the footer. We keep a minimal consent log (timestamp, your choice, policy version, truncated IP, country) as proof of consent — that log is itself data-minimised and never used for anything else.
• No ad trackers, no marketing cookies, no fingerprinting, nothing sold or shared.
• Email: if you write to hello@angilabs.com or request early access, we keep your message to reply to it and to notify you about Lilo. No lists are sold or shared; every update email has an opt-out that works.

In the Lilo platform (early access)

• What the agent collects: a fixed, published set of device signals — storage wear and error counters, battery capacity and cycles, thermal and performance metrics, per-application crash counts, patch age, Wi-Fi quality, and workload pressure — plus device identifiers (hostname, model, serial) needed for the lifecycle register.
• What it never collects: file contents, documents, keystrokes, browsing history, screenshots, or the contents of any communication.
• Transport and storage: agent traffic is encrypted in transit. Each customer’s data is fully separated, with that separation enforced by the system itself and verified by automated tests on every change.
• AI features: AI features receive pre-aggregated summaries, never raw telemetry streams, and every AI call is logged with its purpose and cost attribution.
• Your rights: export of your tenant data, and deletion on request, are supported workflows — write to privacy@angilabs.com. Data-subject request handling (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, POPIA) is part of the platform's compliance programs, which are in progress and stated as such.

Who we are

AngiLabs, founded and led by Lionel Marais and operating from South Africa, publishes angilabs.com and the Lilo platform and acts as the data controller for this website. Company registration details are shared with early-access participants on request and will be published here at general availability.

We process early-access requests on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to them; website analytics are aggregate-only and involve no profiling. Correspondence is kept while we're in contact and deleted on request. Platform telemetry retention is set per tenant and will be documented in full before general availability.

Who is responsible, and your rights

• AngiLabs (company registration in progress, South Africa) is the responsible party under POPIA and the controller under GDPR for this website and your account data. Information Officer: Lionel Marais — privacy@angilabs.com.
• You can ask for access, correction, deletion or export of your personal information, or object to processing, by emailing privacy@angilabs.com. We answer within a month.
• Not satisfied? You may complain to the South African Information Regulator, or — for EU/UK residents — to your local data-protection authority.

Where data lives and travels

• Lilo and this website run on servers in the European Union (Germany), with edge services as the subprocessors list describes.
• South Africa does not hold an EU adequacy decision, so for EU/UK personal data our Data Processing Addendum incorporates the 2021 EU Standard Contractual Clauses; for data leaving South Africa, that same agreement provides the protection POPIA section 72 requires.
• We keep workspace data while your account is active and delete it after termination as the DPA sets out. We never sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context advertising.

Changes

If this policy changes, the version and date at the top change with it, and material changes are flagged to early-access participants by email.
