Lilo private beta agreement · founder-v1 · 12 October 2026
The beta deal, in plain language.
Creating a Lilo beta workspace means accepting this agreement. It says what you get as a founding tester, what we ask back, and how we treat your data. No legalese for its own sake.
Data processing: our Data Processing Addendum — including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the sub-processor list — is part of this agreement. We will countersign your copy on request.
Who you're dealing with
Lilo is built and operated by AngiLabs, founded and led by Lionel Marais, operating from South Africa (company registration in progress; the registered entity and number will be published here and will assume this agreement unchanged). Contact for anything in this document: hello@angilabs.com.
What founding testers get
- Free access for the whole private beta — every feature on, no card.
- 50% off the then-current list price for your first 12 months of a paid subscription after general availability.
- A permanent 20% founding-tester discount off the then-current list price from month 13 onward, for as long as your subscription stays continuously active.
- A founding-tester badge in the product and, only with your consent, named recognition on our site.
- Direct roadmap input — what founding testers ask for gets built sooner.
The fine print: the discount applies to your subscription, is non-transferable, doesn't stack with other offers, and lapses permanently if your subscription is cancelled or lapses for more than 30 days. "Founding" pricing means the life of your continuously active subscription — not the lifetime of any person or company. We may change list prices; your percentage never changes. The program is limited to 50 organizations.
What we ask in return
- A short onboarding call and honest feedback at a few agreed checkpoints. We close the loop — you'll hear what changed because of what you said.
- Keep non-public features and roadmap details confidential until they ship.
- Founding slots on accounts inactive for 60+ days during beta may be reclaimed (we'll email first).
Your data
- Your data stays yours. Device, client and alert data you connect is processed only to run Lilo for you — never sold, never used to train anything, never shown to another customer. Each workspace’s data is fully separated from every other.
- We act as your operator/processor (POPIA §21, GDPR art. 28 where it applies): we secure it, we tell you without undue delay if something goes wrong, and we delete it on request or when you leave.
- Integration credentials (like RMM API tokens) are stored encrypted and used read-only.
- Export and deletion on request are supported workflows, during and after beta.
What you may not do
- No reverse engineering, scraping, or automated extraction of the product or its data.
- No sharing of invite codes or accounts — teammates get their own logins (it takes a minute).
- No reselling or republishing Lilo output outside the white-label features built for that purpose.
Disclaimers
- Beta software: provided as-is, no uptime or fitness warranties, things will occasionally break — that's what the beta is for. It is not a production commitment until a paid order says so.
- Keep your own backups of anything that matters to you. We work hard against data loss, but during beta it is a real risk we cannot warranty against.
- Feedback and ideas you share with us we may use freely to improve Lilo, without obligation or payment — that is the trade of early access shaping the product.
- Scores and lifecycle advice are decision support built on published rules — final decisions (and purchases) are yours.
- To the maximum extent the law allows, our liability during free beta is limited to what you've paid us: zero. Nothing here limits liability that can't lawfully be limited.
- Either side can end beta participation by email, any time, without penalty. Sections on data, confidentiality and the founder discount survive for those who continue to a paid plan.
Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Changes
This is version founder-v1. Your signup is stamped with the version you accepted; if we ever change these terms, the version you joined under keeps applying to you unless you agree otherwise.
